LMHC Qualified Supervisor
Congratulations on your completion of graduate school, and your readiness to take the next step in your career!
As you likely already know, in order to become licensed, a registered intern in the state of Florida is required to complete 1500 client contact hours under the supervision of a Qualified Supervisor in no less than 100 weeks. You are required to obtain at least 1 hour of supervision every 2 weeks, or for every 15 client contact hours, and at least 50% of your supervision must be individual or pairs supervision. This process must be completed within 5 years of registering.
All the facts aside, I know how important it can be to choose the right supervisor for you.
It is my aim to help my supervisees develop their skills and a confidence in their abilities to become the most effective clinician they can be. While I aim to review their understanding of various mental health conditions and applications of treatment techniques and modalities in a real-world setting, it is my ultimate goal to contribute to the development of their own personal and professional self-awareness. It is with an attention to these skills, and our own internal world that we are able to relate to those who seek our help most authentically.
